What Blueprint Are You Building With?

Every God-given vision requires God-led building, but somewhere along the way many of us begin building with our own hands and forget the One who gave the vision. We stop seeking His provision and slowly our businesses become something God never intended. They become spaces for self-glorification, chasing praise, money, or accolades.

This blog was created because so many of us are building, but we are not asking the most important question: Am I building according to God’s blueprint, or my own? Often we are so focused on the work itself that we miss the One who gave us the vision in the first place. The purpose of this space is to help you pause, reflect, and ensure that what you are building is rooted in Him.

Welcome to the Builder’s Provision, a space to build with the true Builder, Jesus. He is the provision. He is the source of direction, wisdom, strategy, strength, and everything needed to steward what He has entrusted you with. When we build with Him, we build His way. When we build without Him, we begin to reflect the world.

God’s Provision Rebuilds Us

God calls us to be set apart , to be a light on a hill. When we follow the patterns of the world, our light gets hidden and the vision He gave us cannot shine through.

"I remember being in rooms that felt like the right rooms. The right networks, the right people, the right conversations. But something was off. The fruit looked good on the outside, but inside I was drifting further from the way God had called me to build. What we surround ourselves with shapes our mindset. If the things we consume and the voices we listen to are opposite of Christ, eventually our heart and our business reflect the world, not God." Founder, Emani Guy

What we surround ourselves with shapes our mindset. If the things we consume and the voices we listen to are opposite of Christ, eventually our heart and our business begin to reflect the world rather than God.

Take a moment and reflect. What areas in my business have I built outside of the will of God?

This question is the starting point for prayer and reflection. Even when things seem aligned, there is always room to grow in how we lead, serve, and honor Him through the vision He has given us.

Rebuilding does not mean failure. It means things need to change. God is a “re” God. He renews, restores, redeems, and rebuilds. If He tears down what you built on your own, it is not to shame you. It is because He is ready to take you to another level and what you built cannot sustain where He is taking you.

Founder’s Story

Written by Emani Guy

Do not think you are alone. I had to rebuild too. God was calling me to walk in faith, but over time I surrounded myself with networks and people who were not aligned with how He wanted me to build. I found myself chasing six figures, accolades, features, and all the success things. It left me burnt out, lost, and confused. The Lord tore everything down so I could start again.

I am starting over with Christ as the foundation. I am starting over with an agency that is meant to be more than a business, but a place where the light of Christ can shine through me.

This year of rebuilding was not easy, but it was necessary for where God is taking me and my company. This is where the Builder’s Provision was birthed. My heart is to help others avoid the misalignment I walked into. I want you to stop, examine, and realign before continuing down a path God never sent you on.

This realignment brought me back to the scripture that now anchors everything we do here.

The Breakdown

The foundational scripture of the Builder’s Provision is 1 Corinthians 3:4–16. This section of the text breaks down the importance of building and understanding that we are not the ones who grow anything. God is the one who makes it grow. We all have our own task, but God turns it into what it is supposed to be.

Sometimes pride, ego, fear, worry, and doubt interfere with what the Lord has entrusted us to plant or water. These things hinder the growth of the vision. We try to build it on our own, not realizing how powerful we could be if we came together with the right people God has assigned to help us build.

Many of us become stingy with what God has given us. We hide our light. We avoid sharing the goodness of God in our business because we fear losing clients or being misunderstood. We are afraid to build the way the Lord calls us to build. It all comes back to fear.

The Lord never gave us the spirit of fear. So why do we allow outside influences to have more authority in our building process than the Builder Himself?

When we build out of fear, scripture says in verses 12 through 15 that whatever grows will be tested. Will it withstand the testing? What is it truly built on? If Christ is not the foundation, then the work suffers loss and becomes meaningless.

What is the purpose of building something God is not growing? This is why so many people burn out. They are subscribing to hustle culture and trying to carry weight God never asked them to carry. God will grow the vision He has given you, but you have to give it back to Him or seek Him to get back on track.

Continue to sit with the Lord concerning the vision He has given you. Allow Him to give you the provision to carry it out. This walk is a continuous one of renewal. You will grow each day. New things will be revealed each day. Move from your renewed self rather than who you used to be.

This is the heart behind the Builder's Provision, a space for biblical wisdom, faith-driven marketing strategies, and practical business tools. We are building community together with God as the Builder.

See you next Monday!

We would love to hear from you. Share in the comments one area you are committed to seeking God’s provision in this week.
